Shipp Family Vacation
Well it may be a surprise to some of you, but I have actually never been to Bryce Canyon. That is where we just went to for the Shipp's family vacation. It was so beautiful and the weather was just perfect. If you haven't been there either I highly recommend going. We only stayed for 3 days, but it was plently enough time to explore and go on a few hikes, as well as relax and just take in the scenery. Watch the slide show above for an overview of our trip.
Bryce Point was probably one of my favorite spots. The view was incredible. You can nearly walk right to the edge. Of course there is a fence there, but you know what I mean. Totally worth it.
Sunset Point
We left early on thursday morning and arrived in Bryce around 12:00 pm. We decided to get out and look around a little. So the first spot we stoped at was Sunset point. The kids were anxious to move around so we went on a "small" hike. Of course we were all in flip flops so it wasn't much. But the view was amazing.
MOSSY CAVE
On Friday morning we went on a hike to Mossy Cave. It was the perfect weather for hiking an overcast day. Even the children seemed to enjoy it except for the walking. When we got to the top of the cave there was water dripping down, the guide told us that is takes 2,000 years for the water to seep through the rocks and drip inside the cave. After the cave we went over to the waterfall; there were two rocks that looked like they were kissing just above the water. The guys decided to hike up a steep part of the mountain to get a better look, while us girls waited with the kids.
Going home...
On the way home we decided to take a detour and go through Escalante and see the Grand Staircase. Instead of only being 4.5 hours it took about 8, but it was worth it, and Tyler did very well in the car thankfully.

Bedtime Story
Last week we had the Catenzaro's over for dinner and to play some games. We are so grateful to have such good friends and that our children seem to adore each other. So we put the kids down for bed and then we have free time to just hang out. It's so nice to be with adults once in awhile, especially after being with a 1 year old every day. So Kevin and Anthony tag teamed up and read a story to the kids. It was so cute they took turns reading the pages and Aria and Ty were very entertained. I don't think men realize how much their children love them...and how much we love them too!

The Renovation
So our blog has been under renovation and believe me it was no easy task to figure this out. So sorry if any of you have been trying to check it out, but I think I pretty much have it fixed.
Our usual dinner time routine...
first we dump the food out of the bowl and onto the table...
then we lick the food off the table...
then he notices that mommy has a camera and says CHEESE!
Here is our little man and this is about how every meal goes for us. Tyler seems to enjoy playing in his food more than he does eating it. So our new routinue is to take off his shirt at least, if not all his clothes, it just makes it easier to clean up and we don't have to worry about stains quiet as much.

Friends...
what would life be without them. Here is our group of girls from the ward, and we love getting together. We all love scrapbooking and of course chatting, so we get together at least once a month, if not more to try and scrapbook, thanks Megan for always hosting. We also had a girls night out a while back, we all went to dinner together with no children. It was great! We got together for fireworks over the 24th of july, at Lisa's house. By the way Lisa, the snow cones were awesome! And last but not least our summer BBQ at Lauren's was a huge hit. The guys seemed to really enjoy themselves and it was fun having our spouses there. I love you guys and I am really looking forward to our girls weekend.
